Bilal Khan is the Managing Director of OneEleven, a post-seed technology accelerator focused on helping Canada’s most promising, high-growth start-ups commercialize their technologies and scale their operations. Events and Projects Specialist
Emily Krause is the Events and Projects Specialist for OneEleven. Passionate about connecting people with resources and opportunities, Emily works to plan and execute engaging events to foster growth in the start-up community. Prior to OneEleven, Emily worked with an international charity to plan workshops and facilitate international trips to empower youth to be active global citizens and leaders of social good.
Dr. Tom Corr is the President and CEO of Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) – a non-profit organization that drives the commercialization of cutting-edge Ontario-based research across key market sectors to build the province’s innovation economy and secure its global competitiveness.

Haroon F. Mirza is the Managing Director & Entrepreneur in Residence of OneEleven. Haroon joined from OMERS Ventures, where he served as Entrepreneur in Residence. Prior to that, Haroon was Director of Business Development – Anonymous Viewer Analytics at Intel. Melissa is OneEleven’s Operations Coordinator. Her main objective is to maintain an efficient, seamless environment our start-ups can succeed in, all while supporting the OneEleven Team. She also acts as the accountant’s liaison, assisting with the books. Melissa works both in the front lines and behind the scenes to keep OneEleven’s Community running smoothly.
Dr. Mohamed Lachemi is Ryerson University’s president and vice-chancellor and formerly the provost and vice president academic. As president, he takes the lead in strategic planning, partnerships, capital projects and city-building.
Nora is OneEleven’s Community Manager. Her main mandate is to build and manage OneEleven’s community of Canada’s most promising tech startups. In her role, Nora helps to strengthen OneEleven’s presence in the wider Toronto tech startup ecosystem, manages the organization’s marketing channels and identifies valuable opportunities for OneEleven’s portfolio founders and their teams.
